A beautiful, spacious, 26-meter long Turkish gulet awaits you to depart on your cruise in the natural paradise of the Aeolian archipelago.
Our route will take you across the Aeolian Islands, or by request, also to the Aegadian Islands, Malta, Gozo and Comino, or even to the Amalfi Coast. Cruises in the Aeolian Islands start every Saturday from the port of Lipari or Milazzo (Messina) with the following itinerary:
SATURDAY
Boarding in Lipari around 5:00 pm, welcome cocktail on aboard, and evening free in the small town known as the heart of the archipelago. Lipari is the largest of the Aeolian Islands and is famous for its caves of pumice, Aeolian Archaeological Museum and Cathedral of San Bartolomeo the patron saint of the archipelago. You will enjoy discovering, in the quaint streets of the historical city center, the charming stores selling handicrafts and typical products. Overnight on board.
SUNDAY
After breakfast on board we will depart to explore the rugged western coastline of Lipari. Admiring the islets and the pumice hillsides where you can swim and relax on the famous white beach. Lunch on board and departure for Salina that, thanks to its capers and vineyards, is considered the greenest island of the archipelago. You can swim in the splendid bay of Pollara, the site of the most beautiful film clips of the movie “Il Postino”. Stopover in the picturesque fishing village of Rinella, where you can rent a vehicle and visit the island by land. Overnight on board.
MONDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for Alicudi, also known as Ericussa, the island of heather. During the sail over you can enjoy one of the most scenic routes of the archipelago, and with some luck we will see dolphins or sea turtles! Once we reach the island there will be time for a swim. After lunch, you can visit the small town. Overnight on board.
TUESDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for Filicudi, the most peaceful and fascinating of the Aeolian Islands. The waters between the grotto Bue Marino and the sea rock La Canna, an ancient volcanic lava neck, distinguish the island with unique seafloors and a deep blue color. Lunch on board and time for swimming. In the afternoon you can visit the island. Overnight on board.
WEDNESDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for Panarea, the elegant and fashionable island of the archipelago. Enjoy a swim in the bay Cala Junco and lunch on board. In the afternoon we will circumnavigate the islets of Panarea: Liscia Bianca, Dattilo and Bottaro with time for a quick dip at the famous underwater fumaroles. Then we will head back to the town of San Pietro, Panarea, where you can walk among the boutiques or discover the prehistoric ruins at the promontory of Punta Milazzese. As the sun sets you can enjoy an appetizer at the Raia with an unforgettable view. Overnight on board.
THURSDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for the island known since antiquity as the lighthouse of the Mediterranean, Stromboli. The locals call the volcano “Iddu”, and the island offers the best of the four elements: air, water, earth, and fire with its eruptions of lava. You can swim offshore the tiny village of Ginostra, with only 24 habitants, and where the only means of transportation is by mule even today. Lunch on board. In the afternoon we will explore the charming streets of Stromboli and reach the Piazza del Vento, and see the ancient lava neck of Strombolicchio. Overnight on board.
FRIDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for the island of Vulcano, known as the home of Hephaestus, the ancient Thermessa. Once we reach the west side of the island we will stop in a picturesque bay along the coast. After lunch on board we will continue to navigate around the island and admire the unique, old, polychrome, volcanic formations including the grotto del Cavallo and Piscina di Venere. Once we reach the port of Baia di Vulcano you can visit the mud baths and sunbathe at the black sandy beach or go hiking up the Gran Cratere of the Fossa volcanic cone. Overnight on board.
SATURDAY
Breakfast on board and departure for Lipari when all passengers must disembark by 9:00am.
